Tekashi 6ix9ine May Be Released Early Due To COVID-19

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator website, Tekashi — real name Daniel Hernandez — was scheduled to be released August 2, 2020. However, on Wednesday a federal judge ordered Tekashi69 to be released early due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prosecutors are discussing on whether or not to release Tekashi into home confinement because he has asthma, which makes it easier for him to contract COVID 19

“The parties are advised that, provided that the Court has legal authority to grant the relief requested by defense counsel, the Court intends to do so,”
