Rapper Kodak Black paid bail on Saturday, July 16th, after his arrest on Friday for drug charges.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers spotted his vehicle with windows that appeared to be tinted darker than legally allowed according to Florida’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The vehicle also had an expired registration.

The state troopers came to a “strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle’s interior,” the statement said. After searching the Durango, troopers found a bag with 31 white tablets and more than $74,000 in cash was also found in the car.

The driver was identified as 25-year-old Bill K. Kapri, who is known as Kodak Black. The troopers saw his license had expired more than 30 days ago and was taken into custody and charged at Broward County Jail. Kapri was charged with possession and intent to sell a controlled substance without a prescription.

Kodak Black was still able to perform at Rolling loud about a week later.

Currently Kodak is under house arrest and can only leave for medical reasons, concerts, or court obligations.
