Thank you for taking some time to be interviewed for Clout Culture Magazine. Can you please introduce your self to our readers and tell us just a bit about what you do?
My name Kyle Treadwell I’m from Hermon Maine. I run NovaWave Records, manage Corey Ellis (@mycoreyellis) and one of the god fathers of Playlisting.
How long have you been running your Label? And when did the playlisting start?
Label was officially created in 2015 and I started playlisting in 2012
What got you into this industry? What where you doing before this? Do you also make music?
I’ve always loved music, it saved my life so I owe it music to give back the life it gave me. I write but nothing super serious
How important would you say Spotify Playlisting is for an artists career?
ImperativeThat and TikTok is what is breaking new artist right now.
What playlist do you run? And what kind of artists are hosted on this playlist? Can you name a few of the bigger ones?
Rap Playlist 2020, Mellow Vibes, Drip Flame, Gym Chill and Vibes Only. We have 24hrs, Ty Dollar Sign, Futuristic, Corey Ellis and many more.

What are your plans for the future? Where do you see your self in 5 years? What about 10?
I have a plan to take NovaWave Records out from the shadows and into the limelight. I want to grow more playlists and contuine to help independent artists achieve their goals. Just scaling everything up as I get more connected
Do you have any artists signed to your label right now? Want to plug them?
Corey Ellis is my day one and the only signed artist but I gotta show love to my boys Christian Kuya, Buza, Eric Remy and Ian Matthew

Just remember it doesn’t matter where you come from, what happened too you. You can achieve anything as long as you have drive and ambition to out work the people around you.
