Thank you for taking some time to be interviewed for Clout Culture Magazine. Can you please introduce your self to our readers and tell us just a bit about what you do?

My name is FUCK HAK7M, I’m an MC out of East Atlanta, GA other wise known as Zone 6. I do what some people would classify as “grunge rap”, I guess. Most of my influences stem from Outkast and Nirvana.

Aye Nirvana is one of my favorite bands!. How long have you been rapping? When where and how did it start?

Well, I was in a punk band at 17. So I didnt really get thoroughly into rap until I’d say 4 and a half years ago. I was 20 and when my band fell out, I wanted to experiment a bit. So I started listening to some of my favorite rap artists and inspired myself while also blending what I learned as a rock vocalist into my craft. I didn’t start taking it real serious until I dropped my first mixtapes BLK WATER back in 2017.

Who gets bragging rights for supporting you and helping you get to where you are now? (Plug your biggest supporters its good karma)

I think honestly the people who get the most support is all my brothas in FREESMOKE charlie, shootout da boi ket , my producer KANPEKI, my homie DUBLGAUGE and DUBLDOWN ENT, my bro KUS.CO, all my homies in lil 8, raaj jodye and tanoh, && my big sis Jamee Cornelia. Also Free my boy Skate and R.I.P. to my twin YOTTO.

I know Jamee. She’s doing big things in Phoenix right now. What is you local music scene like? Pros? Cons?

I’m fairly new to it. I had been suffering from alcoholism from 2017 all the way to mid 2018. I didn’t cease the opportunity to really venture into my scene like I used to say around 2012. The hip hop scene is completely different than the scene I’m accustomed to. The scene is a bit more cut throat, somewhat a little too inclusive. Theres little pockets here and there. Funny, cause shout out to Jamee because one of the first venues I set foot in was Dopesounds ATL and she was hosting that event. I was one of the first artists to headline one of the first ever Dopesounds events. And that was just from going out once. Considering the shit I was going through kept me in the house. If not for dopesounds I’ll be one hunnid and say that Atlanta as a communal scene is dead. Everyone is competitive as an MC and there’s no real idea of what community looks like any more. Mainly cause everybody wanna rent luxury vehicles and floss fake diamonds but somehow LACK the time to make quality music. All in all I embrace atlanta for the culture that it maintains because I grew up here, nah mean? I wouldnt be where I’m at locally if it wasnt for a venue of like minded individuals and if not for folx like Jamee I wouldn’t be where I’m at.

I see this too much lately. Rap Cap artists is what I call them. If you could go on tour with anybody in the world, who would be on the bill? What is your dream tour?

I would love to tour with Ski Mask, Denzel Curry, JID and Kendrick Lamar. They been some of my favorite artists that currently have some impact on the culture. Also some of my personal favorite artists. I don’t know what the tour would be called but it’d be wild.

Who is you absolute favorite artists in the scene right now. Who takes the title?

My personal favorite artists right now … I been on Night Lovell a lil bit, got mad respect for Zillakami , JID cause he rep his hometown hard which is east atlanta where I’m from. Denzel once again cause he be working.

Bruh hell yes. What about local underground artists. We gotta show them some love too?

No lie. I ain’t seen nobody in Atlanta work harder or build more rapport than #FREESMOKE artists right now. But I will say folx like my boi Siraaj Young been making moves in the 3. Shout out to my boi Dublgauge too, whenever he drop it’s a show out. And last but not least I gotta give cred to my boi KUS.CO cause ever since I met him in this atlanta scene he been working hard. Can’t forget my homie Zac Manson #freedaskate. People might disagree but locally every time theres a show these are the few that really pipe it up for the culture and that’s all I ask for at any show. They earned that respect.

What are your plans for the rest of the year?

I got a little a little something out of the ordinary coming for some of the people. Big plans this summer and so on. In the meantime, peep the new video FUCK HAK7M – KITCHEN on my youtube. Until then, that’s a wraap

Stoked! Where do you see your self in 5 years?

Face deep in some coochie in Tokyo hanging out of a GTR with the most expensive bottle I can find. Hopefully ain’t no pandemic by then lmao.

What are your thoughts on the state of things in America right now? How do you feel about the BLM movement and the fight against police brutality?

I think what’s going on in America has been a long time coming. The fight needs to continue to months after this one because our slaughter and voices will not be heard till we’re on their fuckin necks like they were on george floyd’s. As far as the movement towards it is concerned we as a people in general need to stand together and build heavier connections. There is more to the fight than protesting. It is time to start truly organizing.

If you could sit down with a racists cop and say anything you wanted without repercussions what would you say to him or her?

There’s nothing you can say to a racist to get them to understand their point of view is wrong. They are infected with a generational disease that is damn near incurable especially when you work in what they deem law enforcement. I ain’t got shit to say to a cop personally myself except this… if you got kids, just know your kids might be watching all the violence and senseless killing from home. The most I can say to a muhfuhka like that is are you foreal satisfied with your child seeing a world they’re supposed to inherit burn because of your bigoted ass views? And that’s just my personal take.

Would you feel comfortable about taking about your experience during the protest? The media had been twisting things and people need to know the truth.

I’ll tell you as much as I know and seen with my own eyes and what I can say is that offtop.. it was some bullshit.. a hoax. That’s as much as I wanna say. But something was not right. There were clearly much devious powers at play. From the stacks of bricks in different areas from the looting… once again that’s as much as I can say foreal. But sumn was scripted for sure. The most I will say, is that started off relatively peaceful. We were there to be heard not to project meaningless anger foreal..

And finally. How do you feel about the looting and rioting? Do you think it is good or bad for the message we are trying to push?

Fuck them buildings. Fuck trump. And capitalism can lick my testicles. That’s foreal what I really gotta say. My only concern is the direction of my fellow citizens afterwards.

I’m worried that what we are fighting for might just fade into obscurity like it has for the past couple years. The execution of my fellow man is too prominent for us not to keep this momentum. I’m just saying I hope we stand strong even when it gets ugly.

After seeing the way the people came together i think when things get ugly again we will be ready and even more prepared. Where is the best place for people to check you out?

Best place to check out any of my recent tapes before my freshman album is on spotify at HAK7M FARAJI or soundcloud at FUCK HAK7M! they can also follow me on all social media platforms under FUCKHAK7M

As we wrap this up. Is there anything else you want our readers to know?

Pee after you fuck raw and remember fuck a opp and mow all the snakes ????????
Other than that; stay real stay true and be yourself cause that’s when love will radiate from every Avenue of life.
