Tekashi 6ix9ine was released from federal prison yesterday to serve out the remainder of his time on house arrest. With 4 months left on his two-year term, a nationwide effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in prisons has lead to the rap super star’s early release.
Last year 6ix9ine plead guilty to several gang robberies and shootings. He has been cooperating with authorities by testifying against his former affiliates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
That argument that his lawyer (Lance Lazzaro) used was that Tekashi has asthma giving him a highetened vulnerability to the coronavirus.
Tekashi is however in confinement. We are not sure what this means for the rapper / entertainer. Will he be able to use social media? Will we be hearing from him? Is he going into witness protection for “snitching” on his affiliates? Only time will tell. Make sure you follow us for the latest developments in this story.
